1. What type of rooms does the hotel have?
Our hotel has 5 room types based on the quality of their facilities.
1) “Standard” room for two people
Our standard rooms are equipped with newer furniture and bathroom. You can book it with a double bed or with separate beds. Television, telephone, small fridge and bathroom with shower or bathtub are part of its furnishings.

Max. 2 adults + 1 child under 14 years in an additional bed or crib
2) “Comfort” room for 2 people
The furniture of our Comfort rooms is simple, the rooms have newer bathroom with shower or bathtub. It can be booked with a double bed or with separate beds. The basic equipment includes a small refrigerator, television and telephone.
Room capacity:
Max. 2 adults + 1 child under 14 years in an additional bed or crib
3) “Classic” room for 2 people
The furniture of the Classic room is old-fashioned, the bathroom is with bathtub. It can be booked with a double bed or with separate beds. The basic equipment includes a small refrigerator, television and telephone.

Max. 2 adults + 1 child under 14 years in an additional bed or crib
4) “Classic” room for 3 people
The triple Classic room is simple, with old-fashioned furniture and in the bathroom is a bathtub. There are three single beds in the room that cannot be pushed together. The basic equipment includes a small refrigerator, television and telephone.
Room capacity:
Max. 3 adults in the main bed (no extra bed possible)
5) Family room
We recommend our family room for families with small children. These rooms are divided into two parts, they consist of a bedroom with a double bed and another room with two single beds. There is no door that separates the two rooms.

Maximum 2 adults + 2 children in main beds + 2 children in additional beds or crib
2. Should I pay a deposit in advance to secure my reservation?
As a guarantee of your reservation, we kindly ask you to transfer at least 50% of the confirmed room rate to our bank account within 5 days of the reservation. When making the transfer, please enter the name of the person making the reservation, your address and your reservation number as the purpose.
If the reservation is close to the arrival date, the deposit is no longer due. You can pay for the package with cash or credit card (EC / MC, VISA) on arrival and the rest at latest by the day of departure.
3. Until when can I cancel the room reservation without penalty, or will be refunded the deposit in case of cancellation?
If the booking is less than 5 nights long, the room can be canceled 2 days before arrival without a penalty. If you stay by us more than 5 nights, the cancellation period increases to 7 days.
In the above mentioned cases, the deposit will be refunded.
4. Up to what age is there a child discount?
0 - 5.99 years: the stay and meals (half board) are free of charge.
6 - 13.99 years: the children's discount is 50% of the price of the stay and meals
Above 14 years, the whole price will be charged.
5. Is there a way to insert an extra bed or crib in the room?
In our twin rooms we can put in max. 1 extra bed or 1 crib, which means that these rooms are only suitable for 4 people, if the smallest child sleeps between the parents.
The extra bed does not provide comfortable accommodation for our adult guests, so we recommend booking a separate room.
6. What parking options are available at the hotel?
You can park in front of the hotel with a camera monitored outdoor parking for 850 HUF/ car/ night.
7. How is the hotel publicly accessible?
If you arrive by train, you will find the local bus stop of bus number 1 or 2, to the left of the main entrance of the train station. If you arrive by bus, the local bus stop is in front of the main bus station. Both buses stop in front of the hotel and they run about in 20 minutes.
8. What are the opening times of the wellness area?
Our wellness area is open in early and late season on working days from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and on weekends (Friday and Saturday) from 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Our wellness area is open in the peak season from 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. on weekdays and from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. on weekends (Friday and Saturday).
The inner pool is 1.30 meters deep, 15 meters long and the water temperature is 26-28 oC.
9. From when to when is breakfast / dinner?
Our guests can have breakfast from 7.00-10.00 a.m.
If you arrive after 9:00 p.m., we can make a cold plate for you that you can pick up at the reception. Please, call our colleagues at latest 8:00 p.m. to request this.
10. What are the options for lunch at the hotel?
A daily offer (2-course menu) is available for our guests for HUF 2,100 / meal. You can either choose from our à la carte or snack menu card.
11. When can we check-in the room?
The room can be occupied from 2 p.m. on the day of arrival.
12. When should I leave the room?
We kindly ask our guests to leave the room at latest 10:00 a.m. on the day of departure.
13. Is there a way to check in earlier or check out later?
Depending on availability, you can occupy the room at the earliest 12 o’clock, in case of the housekeepers have finished the room, if not, you can leave your packages in the luggage room at the reception.
Late check-out is also possible based on availability. In this case, you can stay in the room free of charge no later than 12 o’clock, each additional started hour costs 2,000 HUF.
14. Does the hotel send the guest a confirmation of the pre-payment?
The hotel will not send you an automatic notification about receiving the amount. But on request we can inform you by phone or e-mail.
15. Is it necessary to register for the forest hike on Saturday and the sightseeing tour on Sunday in advance?
No pre-registration is required for these programs, the meeting point is our reception at 9:50 a.m.
16. What is the program of the Saturday forest hike which is included in the room rate?
The forest hike is accompanied by a qualified tour guide on easier terrain (recommended for all age groups, with average physical fitness). The tour takes approx. 2.5 - 3 hours, but this can vary depending on the interest of the participants and the speed of hiking. During the tour, you will get to know the local forests, forestry, indigenous flora and fauna, and the natural geographic factors.
The program is only cancelled in case of extreme weather conditions, no special hiking equipment is required. Clothing appropriate to the current weather, comfortable shoes are required, it is advisable to protect yourself from insects and take liquids with you.
17. What is the program of the Sunday sightseeing tour which is included in the room rate?
The tour program is run by a guide, there are no accompanying costs regarding to the guiding, but the group travels from the hotel to the city center using local transport. Bus tickets can be bought at the reception for 320 HUF/ piece or 390 HUF/ piece on the bus.
Upon arrival in the city center, you will discover the sights, historical and cultural heritage of the historical city center on foot, and hear interesting stories about the past, present and future of the city.
The program takes at least 1.5 hours, but is usually longer, depending on the interest of the participants.
18. Are there any additional costs for the Saturday and Sunday excursions listed as package contents?
As part of the room price, you can take part in a free Saturday guided tour with a qualified guide over the forest and a city tour in Sopron on Sunday (the only cost is the purchase of a local bus ticket, which is available at our reception for HUF 320/ piece ).
Both tour are done in Hungarian.
There is also an option arriving in the city center with your own car. In this case parking is free on weekends in the city.
19. What kind of renovation works are being carried out in the hotel?
We are currently in the process of replacing the doors and windows, furthermore the railings and partitions of the balconies, and also isolating the entire hotel.
The construction works are on working days from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
