Hotel Szieszta in Sopron celebrated its 50th anniversary on July 15, 2020. This page is dedicated to those who want to learn more about the past of our hotel, revisit the beginnings, and explore how Szieszta became one of the leading hotels in Western Hungary.
A snapshot of an era
In its early years, the hotel operated as the KPVDSZ Holiday Resort. Since then, it has become a beloved retreat for generations. Its distinctive silhouette is now a familiar part of Sopron’s cityscape. Countless family vacations, conferences, and school trips are tied to its name.
